Almost 1/4 of beneficiaries could be receiving wrong level of support
Posted by: Lilith7 - 04-12-2024, 04:11 PM - Forum: Opinion and Politics - No Replies

And so, anyone receiving insufficent benefits will of course have their level of benefit increased...probably immediately, by our benevolent govt Rolleyes   Big Grin

Louise Upston was asked whether its acceptable that so many beneficiaries were getting less than they should, & then struggling even more, or being overpaid & then slapped with an overpayment debt.

According to her, there's a new major" tech upgrade about to be started which will improve accuracy."

  Accessing External Drive.
Posted by: driftwood - 04-12-2024, 03:44 PM - Forum: PressF1 - Replies (2)

I have a USB drive plugged into my Router that can be accessed by my various systems.
I have done a re-format on one system and now I can't remember how to set up the connection.
I used to have a shortcut on the desktop called Mydocs which would go straight to the drive.
I know what the address is, as I can see it on the properties of the other systems shortcut.
But It's not working for me.
Any ideas?

More fabulous news for health...nah, not really.
Posted by: Lilith7 - 03-12-2024, 02:56 PM - Forum: Opinion and Politics - Replies (10)

Slash & burn, slash & burn; this govt has become so blatantly uncaring that you have to wonder whether some people may be somehow involved with private health providers.
Govt had assured everyone last year, that frontline workers would not be affected.
Now clinical staff will have to do those things. How many people might die as a result? What number would be sufficient for govt to change this idiotic idea? Or do they not care at all?

Angry Angry

Frontline health workers told their jobs could soon be gone...those who make beds, tidy wards & replenish supplies to ease the load on staff may be out of work next year.

  New poll delivers hung Parliament
Posted by: king1 - 03-12-2024, 09:10 AM - Forum: Opinion and Politics - Replies (6)

This latest poll seems to suggest some New Zealanders are suffering buyers remorse...

Quote:A grinding recession and racial tensions have ended National's honeymoon with voters, who would deliver a hung Parliament if an election was held today, a new poll shows.
The Post/Freshwater Strategy poll shows National slipping four points since the October 2023 election.
Labour has gained four and leader Chris Hipkins pulls ahead of National's Christopher Luxon as preferred prime minister, meaning the race for 2026 is very much alive.
