Nope she should apologise.  It was a stupid thing to say regardless of her reasoning after the fact.  But she does have a bit of a history regarding stupid comments- taking back the word "cnut" anyone?

If kids grow up seeing their Mum's partner being violent towards her then eventually that becomes normal & can become seen as a 'normal' way of expressing love. And it can be extremely difficult to leave such a situation.

We perhaps need to start at the primary school & high school level by teaching kids empathy, which would be a step in the right direction.

the problem with that is those that desperately need that kind of education probably aren't attending school for various reasons...

This trans chooses to express as a male, therefore one might assume that being male in the USA involves guns in ways other males in other countries just cannot understand.

Well based on the pics I have seen it does appear she failed to look right, look left then look right again  then cross.  Probably too much right in there for Marama.

Yes she was so traumatized by the accident she went and protested and partied for 3 hours - then it hit her - the next day when she realised she had screwed the pooch.
