David Tamahere ......no    the cops said he stole the watch and gave it to his son but when the skeleton was found it still had the watch

Mark Lundie.....yes   there is a issue with timing but he is a terrible actor

David Bain.... not sure on that one

if watson was guilty and admitted guilt he would have been out by now, police were looking for someone completely different and a completely different boat

And the cop who planted evidence in the form of a cartridge was never penalised.
Apparently they can do no wrong, which is disturbing...

I think the choice is between guilty or terminally stupid on that woman, though I doubt a 'not guilty on the grounds of stupidity' would cut it legally.

Yes, that's likely what's needed. And really, if her intention was to murder & get away with it, then she did an abysmal job of it.
