I have mislaid the SD card from my camera.  I spent an hour or so experimenting with some shots.  I thought I had a memory card in the camera.  Went to put it in the laptop and it is not there.  I probably took it out and put it down but I'm blowed if I know where.  Humphhhhh!!!! Undecided Blush

  Scrapbooking...Journalling...Cardmaking...etc
Posted by: crafters_corner - 22-02-2020, 09:04 PM - Forum: Scrapbooking - Replies (5)

Who here loves using paper in their crafts??

I do very much. I used to make cards...isn't that how most of us start out at least??..but now I do more mixed media, using lots of paper, watercolours, medium products (gesso etc), stencils, and so much more.

I've been lucky enough to get over to Melbourne twice to Paperific, and it was awesome to see so much product that I'd never heard of before.

It is getting very hard to source products in NZ now (in REAL shops), but also, it's getting the same in Australia. Not sure why. I guess because it's easier to buy on the internet.

I've been busy rearranging my craft area, so that it is a more usable and manageable space. I like to be able to reach my stuff, without getting out of my chair. My trolley on wheels is brilliant for that.

What are you all making at the moment?? It would be great to share ideas here.
I am very happy that nzoomed has given us our own sub category, as I felt that at times, us paper crafters got a bit 'lost' in the general crafts/hobbies board on TM. So many people doing sewing/knitting and the like. We now have our own space. Thanks tmmb/nzoomed et al Smile

Thanks Nzoomed for putting this together. Much appreciated, and you’ve done a fantastic job in so little time. Glad we didn’t all end up stuck on that other board.

Onward and upward! Cheers.

"Aged Disgracefully.... and finally...

Question Using the "Quote" feature
Posted by: videomonkey - 22-02-2020, 05:11 PM - Forum: Tips & Tricks - Replies (6)

It seems like a few people are having issues getting the hang of the "quote" feature. Fair enough! It's a bit more complex than the system Trademe use on their boards.

Here's a quick rundown:

1) Quote a single post
Simply click the "reply" button below the post you want to quote and reply to.

Example image: https://i.imgur.com/LsjyKK1.png

This will open the "new thread" window with the selected post quoted. Start typing your message underneath the quote box (not inside it, as this will make your reply part of the quote).

2) Quote multiple posts

PLEASE NOTE: This feature allows selecting multiple posts to quote in your reply.  It is intended for the following scenarios only...

  1. Two or more users post much the same content that you wish to reply to.
  2. Two or more users post complementary information about the same topic
  3. A single reply is required to two or more posts

It is not intended to reply to Five different posts with five different replies.  This just creates unnecessary clutter in the thread and makes it difficult for the other participants to reply to you specific comments.  Use the individual reply feature instead

Click the "quote" button under each post you want to quote, then click the "reply" button under the last post.

---

Hopefully that makes sense! Any questions, feel free to ask below Smile
