  Fan wires
Posted by: Excalibur - 23-10-2024, 07:08 AM - Forum: PressF1 - Replies (4)

Went to replace front fan because it was noisy. Got it out only to discover it has extra wiring. Some go up to the switch area of front. Have refitted original fan to study and post this thread.
Replacement to left.
Please advise. Thanks

  3 minute hugs only
Posted by: Lilith7 - 22-10-2024, 03:12 PM - Forum: News and Current Affairs - No Replies

Dunedin airport has put a time limit on people hugging - 3 minutes, that's it. Those exceeding the time limit will be 'gently moved on'....

And all the other airports laughed... Rolleyes Big Grin Big Grin

Disabled boy's life online emerges after his death
Posted by: Lilith7 - 21-10-2024, 06:05 PM - Forum: News and Current Affairs - Replies (3)

This was a while back but was on tonight's news. A young man who had  Duchenne muscular dystrophy
spent much of his life online where he became a character called Lord Ibelin Redmoore, or sometimes, Jerome Walker. When some of the people who knew him through his gaming attended his funeral, his parents were stunned, but eventually, comforted.

  Govt. stigmatising beneficiaries
Posted by: Lilith7 - 21-10-2024, 02:27 PM - Forum: Opinion and Politics - Replies (2)

They do seeem hell bent on controlling anyone on a benefit.
MSD officials warned govt that forcing beneficiaries to use card as a sanction can be stigmatising & is open to exploitation but govt will go ahead, "despite studies showing negative mental health impacts & noting that such cards are one of the most easily circumvented aspects of money management." Dodgy

It would be interesting to perhaps set up cards of this kind for politicians; with certain things unable to be purchased... Rolleyes

Children to be jailed in Northern Territory
Posted by: Lilith7 - 20-10-2024, 02:57 PM - Forum: News and Current Affairs - No Replies

Unbelievable, that any civilised state could do such a thing. Kids as young as 10 could be sent to prison fgs. We know now that the human brain isn't complete until the mid 20's, specifically the areas which cover risk taking & possible consequences, absolutely disgraceful they want to do this to any child.
